JMC along with the project team assisted in the redevelopment of a dealership property located at 299 Kisco Avenue in the Village/Town of Mt. Kisco, NY. The applicant, AutoNation, Inc., an industry leader and America’s largest and most admired automotive retailer has recently expanded its operations to the Westchester area. JMC also assisted with the Jaguar Land Rover-Elmsford and Jaguar Land Rover-New Rochelle dealership projects with the same project team which have been constructed in 2018 and 2021 respectively.
Working closely with the project team and Village Staff, the project includes the demolition of an existing dealership and the construction of a new approximately 10,850 square foot, state-of-the-art Jaguar Land Rover dealership facility. The dealership will include sales and service drop-off with service occurring at a new service facility located at 17 Norm Avenue in the Town of Bedford, NY.
JMC is proud to be part of the team that included numerous approvals from the Village of Mt. Kisco, including the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals and Architectural Review Board. Since the property is located within the NYCDEP watershed, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) approval for stormwater improvements was required by the NYCDEP. A Use and Occupancy Permit was also obtained from the NYSDOT for additional landscaping to be installed on the Saw Mill River Parkway exit/entrance ramp as a condition of Site Plan Approval.
Construction on the project will commence in the Summer of 2021 and is expected to open for business during the Summer of 2022.
