  Brynwood Golf & Country Club | 07.14.2007

  Formerly known as the Canyon Club, this pristine 156-acre property was purchased in 2009 by Corigin Real Estate Group, an industry leading real estate developer, owner and operator.

  JMC was retained by Brynwood to assist in securing approvals for an active adult residential golf community in Armonk, NY. JMC was part of a multi-disciplinary consulting team which included a world renowned architectural firm, industry leading golf course architect, top legal counsel, and respected local planning and environmental consultants.

  The project is a unique  development located in the heart of Westchester County, with the primary purpose of keeping active adults and empty nesters in the area who no longer need a lot of space without sacrificing quality and luxury. JMC’s main role on the team, to date, was to prepare preliminary engineering plans, assist in preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement, zoning text changes, and amendments to the Town of North Castle Zoning Map, all which are required prior to Site Plan Approval.    The next phase of final plans and permits for the golf course improvements and residential site plans is underway.
