JMC along with the project team assisted in the redevelopment of an existing office building property located at 120 & 150 Bloomingdale Road in the City of White Plains, NY.  The project consisted of the subdivision of the property, the construction of the approximately 238,000 square foot, 132-Unit, state-of-the-art Independent Senior Living Community with associated off-street parking, landscaping and stormwater management improvements at 150 Bloomingdale Road and the construction of a 314 space parking garage to serve the existing office building that remains at 120 Bloomingdale Road.

The developers, EPOCH Senior Living and National Development, are industry leaders in the senior living community and have recently expanded their operations to Westchester County.  According to the EPOCH Senior Living official website “At EPOCH Senior Living, we are committed to being ‘The Residence of Choice for Seniors.’ That means providing a comfortable, dignified lifestyle in gracious surroundings.”  According to the National Development official website “We turn projects into communities. We work collaboratively as long-term partners, creating value for our investors and enhancing the neighborhoods in which we build.”

Working closely with the project team and City Staff, the project required numerous approvals from various approval agencies including the City of White Plains, the Westchester County Department of Health (WCDH) and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC).
