JMC along with the project team assisted in the redevelopment of a former residential estate property located at 1 Dromore Road in the Town of Greenburgh, NY. The project consists of the construction of a 4-story, approximately 70,000 square foot, 45-Unit, state-of-the-art Affordable Housing Community with associated off-street parking, landscaping and stormwater management improvements. The project is located across from the Greenburgh Nature Center and a short walk down Dromore Road to Central Park Avenue and public transit and will provide safe, high-quality homes for working families. The project also included numerous improvements to Dromore Road from the project site to the intersection of Central Park Avenue (NY 100). The various improvements will benefit not only the development, but also the other properties along Dromore Road such as the Greenburgh Nature Center, and included road widening, curbing, sidewalks & crosswalk, signage, drainage & landscaping. Furthermore, the decorative stone wall along the frontage of the development was saved to pay homage to the local history of the property.
The developer and owner, WBP Development LLC, is a leading residential real estate development firm in Westchester County, New York.
