Chestnut Market, City of Yonkers, NY 10.24.2025

On August 14, 2025, Chestnut Market celebrated its grand re-opening of its gas station and convenience store located at 1250 Nepperhan Avenue in Yonkers, New York. The transformation of property provides patrons with exceptional offerings such as a walk-in beer cave, fresh coffee, snacks and food in addition to gas for vehicles.

The redevelopment consisted of the reconstruction of the existing building to accommodate the expansion of the convenience store. Additionally, the improvements involved regrading, new curbs and sidewalks, new off-street parking, paving, and new landscaping for the property.

JMC worked with the design team to obtain the City Council, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Planning Board approvals necessary for this redevelopment to come to fruition.
