51 South Broadway (City of White Plains, NY) 03.03.2026

JMC along with the project team assisted in the redevelopment of a former commercial property located at 51 South Broadway in the City of White Plains, NY.   The project consists of the construction of an 8-story, approximately 195,000 gross square foot, 134-Unit, luxury rental apartment community with associated off-street parking, landscaping and stormwater management improvements.  On-site amenities include a lobby fireside, game gallery & lounge, fitness center, coworking space, dog wash & spa, bike room with fix-it station, and rooftop swimming pool, clubroom & lounge.  The project is located adjacent to the historic Armory Plaza and a short walk to the various restaurant & retail corridors on Mamaroneck Avenue, Westchester Avenue and Bloomingdale Road.  The project also included full streetscape improvements along the project frontage (South Broadway and East Post Road), providing granite curbing, concrete sidewalks (to White Plains Promenade standards), street trees (tree wells & grates), and decorative light posts to be enjoyed by the residents and general public.

Working closely with the project team and City Staff, the project required numerous approvals from various approval agencies including the City of White Plains, Westchester County Department of Health (WCDH), the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), and the Westchester County Department of Public Works & Transportation (WCDPW&T).
