EF Academy, a world-class private day and boarding high school nestled on a stunning 97-acre campus in Westchester County, NY, continues to redefine global education with its “mini-UN” atmosphere, personalized learning, and academic excellence.

JMC is proud to spotlight our ongoing partnership with EF Academy, providing services from design through construction on a series of transformative campus projects.  From new student dormitories and faculty housing to athletic facilities, our latest collaboration marks the completion of Phase One of the Campus Circulation Enhancements and Beautification Project.

Project Highlights:

Main Campus Plaza
A vibrant pedestrian gathering space now connects the main academic and gym buildings, replacing the former roadway with elegant pavers, seating areas, and lush rain gardens that support stormwater mitigation.

Enhanced Circulation
A redesigned vehicle turnaround discourages traffic in pedestrian zones, while expanded green spaces and amenities foster a more welcoming and dynamic campus atmosphere.

Functional Artistry
Polished concrete pebble stones serve as both traffic barriers and informal seating, blending safety with student-friendly design.

Native Landscaping
Extensive plantings and new canopy trees create a shaded, inviting courtyard that signals arrival and community.

Outdoor Porch
A raised platform with seat walls adjacent to the gym offers a flexible space for student gatherings—formal or spontaneous.
